Welcome to Craiglea Rural

G'day. We are Jamie and Mani Sturrock. We own and operate Craiglea Rural.
A family business based near Dulacca, on the Western Darling Downs of Queensland, Australia.

We breed and train quality Border Collie working dogs and performance horses for work and competition. We offer working dog pups, started and trained working dogs, and performance horses for sale. We also conduct working dog training schools year round, at our place or yours, and offer an online working dog training resource called Working Dog Training Online.

We manage a commercial beef cattle breeding operation across several grazing properties. We also trade cattle according to the seasons, and run a small flock of White Dorper and Damara sheep.

We use our working dogs and horses daily, as part of our living. We also enjoy competing on weekends in cattle dog trialling, sheep dog trialling, campdrafting, polocrosse, stockman's challenges and kids events to name a few!

We have two young sons, Jack and Toby, who are very involved in our business, raising pups and riding their horses.

We are very proud of our family, our business and our animals, and get a lot of satisfaction out of sharing quality genetics, training methods and stockmanship with others.
